The Knoxville Wind Symphony is a forty-person
professional ensemble
consisting of woodwind, brass, and percussion players which performs
in Knoxville and the surrounding communities.
The Knoxville Wind Symphony seeks to perform the best wind literature at a professional standard. Accordingly, principal chairs in the ensemble have been filled with the finest area performers, including members of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, college and university music professors, and other area professionals.
